DESCRIPTION:Join SDSU Extension and the community of Platte for the seventh annual Energize conference on May 6–7\, 2025. The conference begins with a light lunch\, registration\, and networking with resource partners at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday\, May 6\, and concludes early Wednesday afternoon\, May 7. Grab lunch in Platte before you head home energized to lead your community to success. \nWhy should you attend Energize? \n\nPlatte\, a south-central South Dakota community of about 1\,200\, boasts a strong mix of retail\, manufacturing\, agricultural and tourist businesses and active nonprofit and volunteer community organizations.\nThis isn’t your typical conference! Energize is a “walking conference\,” a chance to explore the community\, meet local business owners\, and exchange success stories with leaders from across South Dakota. Expect to leave with ideas to bring back to your own community!\n\nRegistration\nEarly registration of only $99 ends April 1. Registration will cost $125 from April 2 through the registration deadline of April 18.
